But you say she jus a friend

Sometimes close friendships develop between men and women that seem to offer advantages over traditional relationships. They can share their ups and downs without being burdened by any expectations of having to provide the answers to each others problems. Perhaps one or both of them are coming out of painful relationships and they therefore enjoy the opportunity to interact without the added stress of physical intimacy. Platonic relationships can be beneficial on both sides, but are they feasible to sustain over the long haul?

Though the notion of such relationships continues to persist, the fact remains that few of the people involved in them manage to resist the temptation to want to move things to the next level. A warm and close interaction indicates that affection is present, and it's only natural that we would want to give it an outlet. Human beings express themselves as much through their bodies as through their words.

Neither is "heating up" an innocent friendship the only way of ending it. What if the two people feel no attraction towards each other? Then they will (unless they plan on entering a monastery)eventually getting involved with other people. It's very rare that a platonic connection can survive a new relationship, because its dynamics will almost certainly be on to the next one. A man, for example, would have a new confidante: his girlfriend. She may feel threatened by his connection with another female (understandable). He can then either sacrifice the platonic friendship if his needs are being met by his girlfriend, or else hold onto it because he has a unique interaction with his friend, and this would put strain on the relationship. If his platonic friend enters into a relationship herself, then the rules of engagement can become too complicated for anyone to get their head around.

Ever wonder who's on the othe sde of the screen?

Ever wonder who uses Internet dating services like Match.com and eHarmony.com? The answer may surprise you. Originally I thought nerds or perverts were the only people on the internet looking for love or the extremely desperate. I was reading how a questioner was given at all the internet dating sites before granting access. After they tallied they found that people who are more “sociable are more likely to use Internet dating services than are those who are less sociable. This finding challenges the stereotypical profiling of Internet daters as being just lonely and socially anxious people.”

I am just beginning to see a lot of Internet dating has really become the new to do. This was not the case 10 years ago, times have changed and using the Internet as a means of finding a girl to date(we use to go to the club or social function)is no longer thought of as unusual.

But not all sociable folks consider the use of Internet dating. If you have high self-esteem and consider romantic relationships to be an important part of your life, you’re more likely to use Internet dating. If you have low self-esteem and consider romantic relationships not to be an important part of your life, you’re also more likely to use Internet dating.

I never thought i would be the old guy but I am going to have to keep it classic with this subject. I would much rather prefer to see first hand what this girl that I plan on dating I want to see more than picture she CP5 before she attached to my email. I don't judge anyone that used this as a means of finding love because I too have friends the have been married from internet dating.

Best Friend Appetite

US families are at home treating their dogs as part of the family, in some parts of the world, dogs are caged, beat, killed and cooked. Are they made to be both pets and menus?

In some countries like Korea, the Philippines and Vietnam, dog meat eating is common. Opposite to what is happening in the western. They are being pampered and even trained. History tells that eating of dog meat was most common in Korea. The older generation ate dog meat due to different reasons: improving virility, cure for summer heat, cure for some illness, and recovery aid after an illness and improving good skin for women; how I could not find out i googled and searched but at the hospital I work at many Phillippiono women told me its has a use in skin care like aloe vera.

There are different means of killing a dog and many critics find it as an act beyond being humane. Some are caught, caged, hung, and boiled. Some are even beaten so hard that too much pain is being inflicted to the animal. However it is not realized by many that food dogs are not pets and they have no names. They are bred in farms, just like pigs, beefs, lambs, chicken and other animals. They are probably bred in cages, which may be cruel but is common in farms anywhere in the world. They are put down "humanely" just like any other animal used for food, usually by slitting the throat and bleeding the animal until it passes out. Phillipionos is mad at foreigners who complain about eating dogs in Korea, where dogs are livestock, not pets. I read that the French too ate dog through the 1800s, and the U.S. even today kills up to 3,000 dogs a year to use in puppy food.

With my mother having I Ace Venture complex when I was growing up I can not imagine eating a dog. I understanding raising them as live stock for a culture who practice dog eating, because even McDonald's went through a phase of using horse meat for their beef products that's why all their ads now are claiming %100 beef. I feel like if we as a culture decided to make chickens pets would the world stop eating chickens and start paying for chicken meal, vet visits, or chicken sweaters? I am happy I can order a chicken Challipua and not a Perro Burger with extra cheese.

WiLd wILd west Arenas

Gilbert Arenas is an all star point guard for the Washington wizards. If you still watching TV the story of Gilbert waiving a gun at one of his teammates in the Wizard’s locker room has been joked about or discussed on every talk show from ESPN to the Wendy Williams show. The official story after weeks and almost two months after the altercation when suspension by the NBA commissioner David Stern.

The story Arenas was originally telling the media that the situation never occurred, but the more and more each day the story grew. After every game before halftime of the Wizard’s game media wasn’t asking about stats and game plan they were bombarding the players with array of questions about the gun in the locker room. Each player dumb found not answering the questions completely and the Wizards forward Jamison just start talking over the reporters. When it was time to interview Gilbert he smiled and laughed at the cameras and joked with the reporters giving them the blow you off treatment like he was a NBA star and nothing was gone happen to him. Since he wasn’t immediately suspended like everyone thought he would his comments became cockier and more frequent. But he finally took it to far while at a home game him and his teammates decided to entertain the crowd by them standing in a line and letting Gilbert pretended to wave and shoot ah fake gun at his team, and what made them think that was funny or appropriate I have no clue. Many teams practice pre game rituals Lebron and his crowd throw dust in the air and his teammates line up and he pretends to snap photos of them, but the pretend Wizards’ shootout with Gil starring as Wyatt Earp way out of hand. The pre game shootout brought so much attention that David Stern had to suspend him indefinitely after the slap in the face.

I didn’t agree with the suspension being needed while the Washington Police done their investigation, but after I seen the fake shootout I couldn’t believe that athletes could actually be that dumb for real or even feel that they can’t be touched like ball players during the 90’s. Gilbert Arenas actions could have possibly end his all-star career after already receiving top point guard pay in the NBA. I don’t like the fact that all the athletes get punished more publicly and since society has this god complex for our athletes these days when its time to pass sentence they get made an example out of. Yes Gilbert has shown poor judgment multiply times through out this and it is no way else to cover up his poor judgment. If I was Gilbert I would have never pulled my gun on a teammate his status as a franchise player could have got the teammate he had problem with traded and he had all to loose while the other guy is some player that has been passed around the league.

All professional athletes need to start making better judgment not because they are role models, which they shouldn’t be looked at as, but because they are constantly under the microscope. Being on the front page news and everybody’s top story is not good especially if it’s not for breaking a record. Gilbert Arenas now has to serve a minimum of six months and might have to void his three years $110 million contract he 1 year into I don’t feel sorry for him I feel bad that I guy can make that much money and still have no common sense.
